wow, you guys are great...I am an older member on some other car sites and yall are inspiring me to take it easier on some of the noobs we get! LOL

if you want to know the dimensions of your slotted port go to this site http://www.loudspeakers101.com/VentCal1.htm it is a very accurate site helped me a lot on my boxes

I also assume that when determining what HZ to tune to you want to take music preference into account. yea now your getting a hang of it i think 37 hz tuning is great for rap and RnB good luck with your box and what sub did you pick the sx or the xxx

thank you...I will definitely be around here over the next few months...I am tired of having to pay other people do my audio for me then not being happy with the result...I wanna do this right.

You can check out my gallery for my SX 15" box. It's 5.1 cuft after sub and port displacements and tuned to ~35 hz.
