I HAVE AN 85' RAMCHARGER(DODGE), I'M HAVING TROUBLE GETTING MY SPEAKERS SOUNDING ON ONE ACCORD. I HAVE 6 TOTAL SPEAKERS(COXAILS 2-WAY),(4) 5 1/4 AND A PAIR OF 6'X9' . WIT MY 51/4 IN THE DOORS (TWO IN EACHDOOR) MY 6'X9' ARE IN THE BACK BOLTED ON THE WHEELWELLS ON EACH SIDE OF THE BENCH SEAT{BY THE WAY MY TRUCK IS A 2 DOOR FOR THOSES WONDERING]. MY TROUBLESHOOTING BEGINS WHEN IM DRIVING WIT THE WINDOWS ROLLED ALL THE WAY DOWN I CAN HEAR MY 6X9"S BETTER THAN MY DOOR SPEAKERS[MY DOOR SPEAKERS ARE LOCATED "ON THE FLOOR''] , EVEN WIT WINDOWS ROLLED UP MY REAR IS LOUDER. install is everything with speakers u cant hear most of the time. if they are not pointing towards ur dome light (in most cases its close to dead center of your roof) then your prolly losing sound, if they are pointing str8 across or str8 up your prolly losing sound because your hearing the lower frequency stuff in the 6x9's over your door frequencies.....correct me if im wrong on this stuff but is it that he has a canceling effect?

If it was cancellation it would affect all the speakers in the system and there would just be a hole in the frequency response. Basically road noise is drowning out your front speakers and leaving you only able to hear the rear ones. An amp on the front speakers will help. Swapping out your 4 5 1/4's for a good pair of 6.5's up front with an amp to power them and then fading the HU to the front will help even more. If you run with the windows down a lot you might want to consider mounting the tweeters for the front speakers up on the dash or on the a-pillar or sail panel.
