Rear fill

Who is running rear speakers? The inside of my truck is so loud and clean I dont think I would benefit from rear speakers! I like a full sound - and I think my CDT components are doing that. And I'm afraid my sub will drown them out really bad.

Just thought I would get some opinions on this subject.

You never know the value of something until it's gone.... that's what has been said of rear fill.... maybe you don't know what you're missing. I think it's always good to have at least a LITTLE sound coming from behind you, because I personally like to be "immersed" in the music. Some people claim that it is better to have all up front because it creates the feeling that it is live music, but concerts have speakers behind you too many times. The sub won't drown them out- that would be like saying it would drown out the front speakers. The bass seems to come from all directions. It's all personal preference, but I say rear fill sounds good.

well, i personally am one who likes the in your face live music sound, i don't run rearfill anymore and love it, i feel that a good comp set should evenlope the whole car in music thus getting rid of the need for rear fill.....but that's just my opinion
