im thinkin about a re se 12 in a bigass ported box i will give it 600rms would this boom like crazy and still sound ok if anyone has one tell me what u think and also with 600rms on this sub ported set up right could it maybe hit 140 dbl????

no one can tell you what you can hit, and also there are many different mics out there. you could hit 140dB's on a radio shack handheld with the setup you're talking about, i should think. u could probly hit 140 wit a box tuned to like 40something, but then it will sound like ass... get probly 2cubes or so tuned to 35 and u will probly be happy
