radio plays but not the CD player

ok i hooked up my CD player and the radio works but it wont play CDs whats wrong? is it something with the wiring or something wrong with the CD player

Ah, the Durango, right? Whatever you have the blue wire from your head unit attached to, remove it and use the blue/white wire instead.

yea u just used the wrong remote lead.

so wire the remote wire that would be goin to my amp to the to the blue wire from the CD player and then wire the blue/white wire from the CD player to the blue wire on the wiring harness

No. Wire the blue/white wire from your head unit to the blue wire in your wire harness AND the remote lead to your amp. Don't use the blue wire from the head unit for anything unless you install a power antenna.
