Okay, so that is all taken care of (thanks to the help I got at these forums). Now, in order to make this system work properly, it needs to be installed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif . I am going to get this all installed by professionals. You guys are the experts here, and I know you probably install your own stuff a lot, but do you have any insight as to where I should take my car to get it done, and who does a really good job? Prices? Thanks again.

Dude its very easy to hook up a system if you want you i can help you out take you step by step on here or on the phone or you could spend 150-200 dollars at most places for a complete install and that is soo stupid i only charge 40 bucks for a complete kit wiring cd players ect.. its easy, if you can count to 10 you can hook up a stereo most of it is labeled and color coded e-mail me at patrickhatcher@hotmail.com now if you dont want any help circuit city can do it for you for that price they do ok way overpriced but who isnt.

dont go to circuit city or any *** place like that. you should go to an actual car audio shop to get it installed. It doesnt cost too much, just think of it as i can spend a few extra dollars to have it done right or i can spend way more money on new equipment after you F#K it up by doing it yourself. There are a lot of things about installing car audio that are very important and just because someone says that they know what theyre doing doesnt mean sh!t. As a professional custom installer at one of canadas top 3 shops, and educated by the gods of audio I have seen a lot of self installed systems and they all look like crap and sooo much is done wrong. Just pay the extra money to have it done right and dont let someone talk you into doing it yourself. Chances are you dont have the proper tools and will also end up breaking panels and clips on your doors, kickpanels, etc...

ive seen people get it done at bestbuy for a decent price but heard complaints about how they wire it in such a way that only bestbuy can change things if you want to upgrade

its always good to learn how to do basic installs yourself and save money unless you dont have the time i paid to have hu installed and amps and when i saw what they did you kind of feel youve been taken because its so easy( basic installs mind you)

if you've got everything sitting there in your garage, get some "guidance." I befriended an installer, and he lends me tools, and tells me what to do when i'm stuck. It really isn't that complicated, as long as you dont fry your deck! Problems arise when a wiring harness wont fit (that ******) or you dont know the polarity of speaker wires (doh). Then it's good to have someone who knows what they're doing and has a mulitmeter. How much better can a "pro" install sound when you already have a box, and you're installing coaxials?

If you're car's a ***** to get apart you can get a book from crutchfield for $5.

GOOD LUCK!
