I lost my spec sheet and have been searching the net to no avail, but if I remember correctly the ppi pc225 should be stable at 1 ohm. Does anyone know for sure? I have an Alpine DVC 10 that I want to use the amp to run, but it's a 2 ohm DVC. I wanted to wire them parallel to get more juice but I don't want to screw up my amp.

It is not rated at 1 ohm. The Power Class amps were rated at 4ohms bridged, just like the Art series. The PC1400 is the exception, it was rated at 1x400@4, or 1x800 @2 ohms. Some of the bigger amps have fans built in so they could theoretically handle a lower impedance. The littler ones do not so I wouldn't risk it. Run it at 4 ohms bridged. I think you'll be surprised at its performance.

Thanks for the reply. I could have sworn it could run 1ohm, o well. You're right about the amp though, it is underrated. I had it running two jl 8"'s and they rocked.
