Power on, but no sound

I get power on my rev-3000d amp, but no sound. I had the amp and speakers tested at the local audio shop. There all good. I tested new rca's, my wiring, ground, power and still noting. When i hit a bump going down the road, or make a turn, it will work for a few min until i hit another bump or turn again. I was thinking short in the wiring but i traced it all back and couldnt fine one. It acts like it might not be getting enough power from my battery. If someone could give me some new ideas id appriciate it

have you hooked up a voltmeter on the amp to the channels' terminals? If the shop says the speakers & amp are all good, must be the wiring as they are the only other thing. Either the source wire(s) (rca's - make sure everything is secure and tight at the amp AND the head unit) or the output wire(s) (speaker wires, make sure good crimps and secure connections).

r u sure ur amp turns on and it's not in protection mode?

also, sometimes just the remote wire will light up the amp but that doesn't mean the amp is ON

It's true that the amp can light up just from remote but unlikely that it will play. The first thing that comes to my mind is that the amp is blown, but you say you got it checked. Did you buy it from that shop and possible they dont want to refund or exchange it? If the amp is good then definitly check the RCA connection ... did you hook it up to the back of an aftermarket head unit or connect it through stock speaker wire?

Take a volt meter and measure the volts at the + and - on the amp. It should read between 12 and 14.7. I would double and tripple check your ground again. I would almost be tempted to run a wire all the way back to the battery (only for checking the system) if it then works you know the ground you have is bad. Check the volts comming out of you remote wire. It should be in the 12 volt range. let us know if any of this helps
