power hx2 questions

it will drain your battery if you didnt have your car on, but so would your headlights. i saw a early 90's model silverado run 4 RF 1001BD's on the stock alt and SVR battery and the lights only dimmed at high volumes, so i think that if you ran 2000watts, you would be fine.

as far as those beasts fitting in your truck, its gonna be tough, take it to a shop and see what they can do (a bed cut would be needed to do ported).

where in oklahoma are you?

Odds are with that much power he had an HO alt.

traksta15:

Look into the big 3; alt, battery, and wire. If you are going to get that much power look into a HO alt probably over 150amps IMO should be fine. Don't worry about a cap. Just look around on the forum and you will see that the consensis of the forum is caps are worthless. Just focus on the alt, battery and wire and you should be fine

Hope this helps...

Jon
