how do you know what to tune your box to????

for every day listening you would usually tune your box from 30-35 htz for compititions you would normally tuen it a bit higher heres a link to a site that tells you how long to make your port. you need to know some stuff to use it but i think most ppl can figure it out http://xsspl.tripod.com/Audio/VentCal1.htm

so for more bump tune it higher????

my box is tuned at 32ish.. i was jus wonderin that if i tuned it higher would it add more punch???

it will increase overall spl but will make it so it can't play as deep and handle less power but higher tuning will make bigger spl just don't forget the subsonic filter if it is tuned high when you listen to music
