Poll: ED8A, 2 RE8's, 2 Tang-Band 8's?

Well due to money issues i'm trying to get rid of my b312, I'm planning on getting one of the things listed in the poll above, but can't decide which to get. I can get an 8a for 135 shipped, and I guess RE8's are around 90 per pair, and TB8's are 30 a piece. I would be porting them, and sending about 400 watts. Thanks.

well, shipping for the TB's from whatever country they come from is $40...maybe even $40 a peice...so that'd make it like around $140. But, i'd go with the re8's in .5 cubes net ported @35hz. Give em round 250-300 total and u'll be happy. peace

The TBs are $32.50 each, plus shipping. I'd imagine you could get a pair of them for under $100 shipped.

I have 2 RE8s, ported, being run by a Hifonics NX400. They sound sweet. BTW, RE8s were 48/ea shipped from visionary, amp was just over 100 shipped on ebay (new)... Not bad IMO

Poop, I don't think parts express get their order of tangbands until the end of the month either. Looks like its gonna be an 8a, and maybe i'll get another over the summer once i get some money together.

Also, just found the ID8, its about 90, so I'd still only have the money for one. Who here has heard the ID V.3's?

I just put 2 re 8's in my fiance's car and they wang pretty good, but I 'm only sending about 15-200 rms to them.

Why not buy them at Neura Acoustic? I'm pretty sure they have them in stock.

I believe they are an SVC 4 ohm driver, so I would say 3-4 of them.

They r single 2 ohm woofers so buy 2 and wire them in series for a 4 ohm load. They wil be very happy with 150 watts a piece.

With 200 watts total the 2 re 8's brought new noises out in my fiance's trunk.
