Hi peoplez,
I need some advice.
My car has locations for 3-1/2's, 6-3/4's, and 6x9's.
I am about to get an Audiobahn A6004T, rated 75wrms x4 @12.5v. I know some of you may say there are better for the money or something like that, but I need it's compact size (9-7/8" x 9-7/8").
Ok, I have Infinity 63.5i's & 693.5i's, with some Infinity 3-1/2's on the way. All with the same CMMD tweeters.
I have a Pioneer HU that puts out 22wrms x4.
Now, how should I do this?....
1)Infinity 3-1/2's= 30wrms
2)Infinity 63.5i's= 75wrms
3)Infinity 693.5i's= 110wrms
I've heard some folks talk about amping their front speakers, and letting their HU power their rearfil, BUT, would that be the right thing for ME in this situation?
The Audiobahn does 75wrms x4. And I'm looking for lots of midbass. So, would it be better to put the Audiobahn on the 63.5i's & the 693.5i's, and let the HU power the 3-1/2's?
Do you think that would still sound good?
I want plenty of midbass, but I also want majority of my sound coming from the front. The 3-1/2's and 6-1/2's should make it louder up front than the 6x9's shouldn't they?
Another thing....
I have a Brutus 1500D, and soon to have the Audiobahn 6004T.
So my next question is, do you think a 125amp alternator would work fine with my setup?
I can get the 125amp from Auto Zone for my car for $200. But if I need something like a 200amp alt, I'll need to get one from HO Alts, which will run me almost $500.
I like my sound balanced, plus my sub is way loud (to me), so I don't turn my Brutus up all the way. So the Brutus probably won't be drawing all the current that it could.
So which is it?
The 125amp alt, or a 200amp alt?
Oh, almost forgot. I have an 800amp battery in my trunk if that matters.
Help me out,
Thanx.
