I'm installing a 4660NEX in my car and in the installation manual it says to install the GPS antenna on the dash or rear lid on this little metal pad. This unit does not have navigation, so I'm not exactly sure what the GPS antenna is for, but I'm wondering if I can install in on the windshield instead?

Clear iPhone from Pioner memory, clear Pioneer from iPhone memory. Power both off, wait 30 sec or so, try reconnecting.
