i particualrly enjoy the pimp my ride when the electronics guy goes "and this clarion headunit is so powerful it powers all 6 speakers at the same time!" sure it gets power to the speakers but you wont be able to hear any of it!

i also like how obvious it is that they are sponsored by products. "hey did you get this CASTROL oil in yet?" while they do a close up of the bottle.

Personally, I like pimp my ride. 1) It's funny. 2) You have to realize it's on MTV 3) Yes, the products that they use ****, but the installs are solid. If they used some better hardware the systems would be pretty **** good. I wish I could upholster and fiberglass as good as those guys 4) It's fun seeing horrible cars just get ripped apart. I want to do that.

just watched the landrover one, pretty sure it was new. The do indeed do very nice things to the car and im willing to bet even tho its not the best equipment it still sounds very good

all that shit on Pimp My Ride is donated by the respective companies (for the purpose of advertising they products)...Clarion is a big sponsor that's why they got a big *** poster on the wall that always seem to get on camera and they usually install Clarion decks in them hoopties

they never used JL audio in anything, the most namebrandest (is this a word?) sub they ever used on that show i think was MTX

i'm trying to figure out why X put all that audiobahn hit in hi personal hummer ???

Anybody see the firebird one one. At least I think it was that one. Anyways the subs looked like the mtx 9500's!!! I don't know a whole lot about mtx but they sure looked like 9500's.

also, they didn't rebuild the engine in that CRX. The guy was explaining what he was doing as if he was going to rebuild the entire engine, but he said he just put in a few new hoses, new battery, new air filter, etc. etc. Simple things like that.

lol yeah, he pulled the engine and all this shenannigans involved, liek he was gonna do so much to it.. clutch, hoses, oil, filters, and battery in a box. did you have to pull the engine for al lthat? then painted the air cleaner red

the only person who knows stuffon pimp my ride is "ISH","its all about the tweed". Overhaulin is cars that are functional, PMR is cars that have stupid crap in them that does nothing, i watch both, also tuner transformation on speed. More of a HP/styling show.
