superman72 - haymarket. it's about 30 miles from washington DC
tommyk - with the addition of my new speakers (CDT HD-62's) that will be taking 200-250w RMS, a 1000w RMS amp would put me pretty close to needing a new alternator. i don't really want to run my alternator at 90% capacity all the time, and i don't want to buy a high-output one now either. the setup i have going is plenty loud for my daily driving. =)
djviolent - i could, but that costs money that i don't have to spend right now. i'm going back to college in january and need to save up a few thousand dollars for living expenses as i probably won't have a job while i'm there, or at least won't be working very often if i do.
werd - not true. the value of the car isn't always the primary factor. a fast car in the hands of an 18-year-old isn't something insurance companies want to see.
