pics of new install here.....finally (RE SExxx)

Stick some cobra rims on there and dream you had a car putting out 350hp... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif

Nice sub and box...I bet it filled up your roomy trunk quite nicely... :p

a new GT would cost me about $22-25,000.....i have nowhere near that much money. i bought my mustang with 40k miles, bumper-to-bumper warranty to 75k miles, and fully loaded for $9200. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nerd.gif.c6fa51ddf7ff75f1c0371fbc648f70ae.gif

indeed my 2001 GT has 17 inch rims, i'm gonna invest in some cobra rims, however can't lower the thing in my town, some people have tried, but they always get ripped off or beat up at the rough ass railroad crossing we have running through town, or the 1 million pot holes. Also the PO PO like to give out tickets, 1 guy got 7 tickets for an "illegal suspension" before he sold it, the tickets were all $95.

Tommyk1990 has an SeXXX 10" and the surround looks nowhere near the size of that one. Anyway, hope you really enjoy it. Are you planning on competing?
Actually, i think it looks the same. You've just never seen an up close shot of it NOT moving. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

BTW, your really underpowering it with that amp. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif You can send another 300-400 watts to that thing.

This is the closest/least moving pic i have...

I'd say they are the same, afterall they are the same exact sub. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

My SExxx look a little different than that, but i think mine are a little bit older. same large surround, except mine arenbt smooth cone, they have dustcaps.

Sounds like you got a good deal. If I were you I'd start putting money back, and save up to buy either a GT engine.. or even a cobra engine, either from a wrecked mustang.. or buy it new. And you'd be paying insurance for a v-6. :thumbsup

or you could just geta 94-95 GT with the legendary 5.0 and you wont have to worry about too high of insurance costs because the car is older.
