never had any experience with PG, but my friend wants a cheap 15, and i found this - any good? hows the sq? and will it really do 650? will it get loud? ported or sealed? thanks for the help

Yes. The RMS is actually only 550 according to the owners manual. I've heard they are slightly under-rated though. I have my 2 15's sealed and love them. They will get loud and have very good SQ. you can find em for less than that. a great driver for the price. i highly recommend them.

just do a search on ebay...a JBL 600.1 would be a pretty good fit.

i have them in DVC, sealed, and they sound so much better than the audiobahns i used to have. I have a hifonics bx1000 in the mail, and its gonna push 1000rms@ 1 ohm to them.
