Is it even comforable to you to sit with a box in the S-10 because I just put a small box in mine and its uncomfortable as all hell. I could only imagine how a bigger box would feel.

I wish you'd help me get loud in my ranger.... I think with some help I could get a 140 out of a 10'' BL and 1000 watts. I'm not really trying to compete, just a loud daily setup. Plus, I only live a few towns over.

Sub on the passenger side, port(s) firing sideways towards the drivers side works fairly well in trucks.

yea burping tuning and power isnt good for daily...thats why bass race and bass boxing is better off for non professionals....and where in the thread did it say anything bout only being burp.

The thread is about how loud a single 10 can get. If you know a way to get louder than by burping, we are all ears. You are the one trying to turn this into a bass boxing thread.

thats how i did my reg cab dakota, with bucket seats. took out the console and amp of the floor between the seats. and sub between the seats. i did a 12 but i probly woulda had better results with a 10. the box had plenty of room but the port was small

Do you have any pics of that setup, just curious? I'd really like to do that but I'm not sure it's worth it for me because I don't have the electrical to support anything over the 1200 watts I'm running now (1000 for subs and 200 for components). You know what I mean? I don't think doing all that work (getting new seats, building a new box, re-running the wires, build an amp rack) would be worth it for just 500 each on the Icons. Maybe if I had 1000 to each I'd do it.
