I can Bass Race within 1 dB of my burp score. When I test peak SPL and play a song, I can hit within .5 dB of burping a test tone.

So whether on music or a burp, does it really matter? And I didnt see anywhere where it said on music only.

Typically a 6-7 dB difference can be seen between the older Term Pro mic and the Term Lab. A 6 dB difference can also be seen between an Audio Control AC 190 and a TL.So his score could be in the 163 dB range.

that AC meter must be off or not claibrated. i have seen it personaly that the AC SPL190 sensor is only 1db louder than the TL, and even steve meade did this side by side and was 1db off. the place is called music in motion witch tommy knows its in his town. only the mics are off that much not the SENSOR.

yea burping tuning and power isnt good for daily...thats why bass race and bass boxing is better off for non professionals....and where in the thread did it say anything bout only being burp.

The guy i was arguing with said it's impossible to hit 150 with a 10" Type-R in any way shape or form. And I kind of doubt anyone could pull off 150's daily with one.

I'll have to check again.

But the old dB Drag mic system is definitely 6-7 dB louder than the TL at frequencies 50-70 hz.

Is it even comforable to you to sit with a box in the S-10 because I just put a small box in mine and its uncomfortable as all hell. I could only imagine how a bigger box would feel.
