Buy the 701 i just bought the 801 and love it but you can get the 701 for 40$ cheaper and it's the same thing but less power, and if your hooking up and amp it doesn't matter

I would definately go with the 701. I have the 401 and I love it but I would like to upgrade to the 701 with a bigger display. I am very happy with Panasonic and I would definately tell you get that with confidence.
