my mom's B/f is a big wig lawyer... lives in a huge house up on the mountains.. he has had his truck broken into over 3 times... takeing small stuff. XM commander display, ( that's it haha), some change. and random small stuff...

since i have moved out here i had someone try to brake into my car.. untill the alarm went off. due to my glass brake sensor.. haha basterd didnt even get to open my door before he shit himself and took off.... he was caught and sentanced to jail.... due to my alarm being hooked up to my horn... with no pulse... just solid laying on the horn... and it's a loud one to...

Turn your shit down when you go into unfamiliar neighborhoods and get a 2 way alarm. At least it would have went off when they broke in. Sorry for your loss, but who just has a macbook and a 1500 dollar bike just chillin in the truck? I would say inside job, but you know better than i do. My buddy had his van broken into and they stole all his stuff and even stole his ashtrays. He had some shitty audio equipment, but still. He didnt have an alarm. I'm not saying that the alarm is the end all be all, but if you're not a lazy ***, you will at least go check it out when it goes off.

I turn my stereo down when I get off the highway which is about a mile from my place. As far as my roommates I've never heard them comming down the block they always turn it down as well when around the house.

do you ride the highway everyday at the same time, someone coulda heard you bumpin on the highway every day on their way home and decided to take your exit and see where you stay one day, it also helps to go diffrent routes if your gonna bump period and also keep em guessing on how long youll be down for when you stop at your house. I saw this real good alarm as far as the alert goes, It basically sounded like 2 people were in the car fighting right infront of the wheel or someone having a heart attack was in the car tryin to get your attention and the lights (halogen fronts too) blinked like that too. just real irradic and annoying as fuck. It had everyone up and down the street looking. Some even went over to the car, in a town where people ignore cars to the fact that they will just walk infront of moving cars in the middle of the street and not even look up.
