Orion 1200d vs. PG 1200.1 with JL 13W7

Which amp would give me the best result? (13W7 is in a 2.4 cu. ft. slot ported box)

1. Orion 1200d with the JL Audio 13W7 at .75 ohms

2. PG 1200.1 with the JL Audio 13W7 at 3 ohms

Also do they make High Output (150 - 200 amp) altenators for Honda Civics and where would be a good site to buy it from?

That 1200.1, im assuming ur talking about the Tantrum, draws a **** load of current and an alternator upgrade will be a must. I'd prolly go with the Orion cause thats a hella nice amp.

You might need to put a few fans around it cause I've felt one and it was a bit hot but it was still going.

you must be talkin aboiut the old hcca amps when it comes to bein hot. The new ones stay cool for the most part. Get the 1200D man, the **** things are bullet proof.

tantrum will do you just fine.

considering watts and the price you're better off w/the tantrum imo (could be b/c i have the dam* setup myself)

No I meant the new chromed out Orion amps. It was prolly casue they were on all day so I wouldnt worry about it. They are so nice. Im not downin the Tantrum, I jsut think the Orion would be better for the job.
