im upgrading all my wirin, alt n batt.

so wich battery is for wich. example: car on, car off, SPL comps etc...

Yellow Top: ?

Red top: ?

Blue top: ?

im looking into drivin daily n still competin when the events come aroun, thanks.

im thinkin on the lines of the yellow top since it can be fully drained...recharged n not hurt it.

is the Everstart Maxx's deep cycle?

Nope...

I'm running 2 in my trunk and one up front, for about a month and a half, 2 of my amps strapped daily and all 4 for burps, not had one problem with them whatsoever...great batteries...there's nothing that can touch them for the price...

The blue and yellow tops are basically the same, the blue meant for marine applications but they are, likethe yellow tops, deep cycle, meaning they can be drained without becoming a big hunk of useless weight. Redtop is meant for a basic car starter battery. HIGH cranking amps. The yellow top is capable of being a starter with the added benefit of being able to be drained.

in my caprice i was using the biggest 1 they had at autozone...forget the name but it was 900cca and 1000ca..$75....id still go with the maxx though

deffinetly cheap. the only reason i was askin if it was deepcycle is cause i have a problem wit drainin power fast. i have a PA A3000DB amp wired at 2ohms. 4 guage wire n stock alt, alittle walmart battery also(everstart) now when im on 15 wit no bass its ok, but at idle i drop to about 10volts. if i got to about 20 i have about 25-30sec. b4 the amps shut off because im not getting enuff power to them. im going to upgrade my alt to a 160amp maybe a 200amp. then get 0 guage n some extra batteries. but i plan on getting another 1 of these amps. and it is deff a power hog, lol. ima have 4 of them for comps. thats y i was leanin toward the deepcycle.

have u ever had this problem wit ur system? i mean at 15 its perfect enuff bass for me...but when i stop it goes from 13.5..12.5..11.5..10.5..10... on volume 20, lmao goes from 13.5...10.5...red...OFF. lmao.

but i also seen some ppl runnin the yellow in the back n red under the hood, thats y i was wonderin whats the diff.

If you want maximum power with the car off for burping pourposes in dB Drag, get the BLUE TOP. Proven loudest battery over the yellow, SVR 80 and 100, and several others I cant remember. The ONLY battery to equal the Group 31 Blue top was the stinger spl1700.

Car running? Whatever it likely wont matter as much as long as you have a beefy alt....

lmao. ok. well i was just saying how my voltage drops heavily.

n e way about the alternators. i was thinkin bout getting a 200amp, but i heard if i run to high of a volt when im driving i may fry the wires. true or false? if this is true im gonna get a 160amp to be safe then.

most wires can take 200v or more.

Coscto sells Blue Tops and Red Tops($100). very cheap, the red top is the older model though.

200volts? or a 200amp alt? the v kinda threw me off, lol.

im only asking because i was gonna get a 16volt batt, n i was told that will fry all my wires for sure, but if i get a 200amp alt n a yellow top i do not want it to exceed say 15volts n fry my wires. i really dont kno if its possible to go that high but im meanin while driving not idle.

at idle i seen that it will put out 100amps. it was on ebay for 210shipped.

yeah im gettin a 16v batt to. you will be fine. if you do your hole vehicle 16v you might fry it all. this battery http://www.turbostart.com/16v324page.htm

lmao. nah i aint gonna go all out wit 16volts. so what u think, 200amp fine? i mean its a daily driver n i really dont have the money to replace burinin out all the wries. or should i be safe wit a 160amp?

as long as it puts out at idle. 160A is fine is thats all you can spend on one.

P.S

that battery wont fry your wires, its 16v/12v. thats why im gettin it.
