Opnions on a Hifonics NX400

Has anyone used this amp? If not, how does Hifonics compare wiith other brands as far as amps go? I am considering the Hifonics NX400, an Alpine mrp-m350, or a Rockford Fosgate 301m to power a 12' Alpine Type-R or similar sub in a sealed box.

I had an Hifonics Nemesis NX600 and I really liked it alot before it got stolen. It seemed to run really hot but that's not necessarily bad. Seemed to put out the rated power and had pretty good sq. Nice amps for the $.

hifonics is okay, just OKAY...
