Just finished up a bit of a budget install in my daily and I was curious of everyone's opinion on my decision to go with a dual 15" dj tower rather than proper car audio components. As far as a run-down of all of the components, I'm running a seismic audio fl-155pc off of a pioneer gm-a3702 amp (bridged at 250w rms set to full-range) with pioneer a-series doors and a boss bv755blc headunit

As long as it’s bumping it’s whatever lol. How does it sound though? Does it get low? Rumble the whole car? Have you tried facing it to the rear? Does it have to tilt like that?
It honestly sounds really good. It could use a little more high end but that could very well just be due to how severely I'm underpowering it. But I got it to play 15hz fairly loud and you can definitely feel it in your chest. I haven't try flipping it around yet just because I didn't want the mids and highs to echo off my hatch and yes because the box has a wedge design

UPDATE: Upgraded to a Rockville DB25 amp and metered it today for fun.
Got a 125.8 at the headrest!!!
not amazing but I'm still super happy with it for how little work went into it

Giving subs more power really wakes them up. The MRP-500 is pretty low power. You would really notice more authority in your bass.

I’m sure they will be a good budget setup. I think they will lack some midbass but door treatment is super important so definitely be sure to do...
