i have a 2000 pontiac grand am gt and i have my subs and amp running off of my factory deck and on my amp when i plug in one end of the rca's on sub is working good and when i plug in both of the rca plugs both of the subs work but they aren't powerfull, so i wired them up to the amp brigded like they were 8ohm subs and then they both worked with on plug in but sounded like crap with both plugs hooked up. what is the problem? could the wires be bad or could i have accidentally hooked the wires up on the back of the deck backwards? help me cause i am stumped

What kind of amp do you have. It could be a bad set of rca's, but it sounds more likely that your amp isn't sending out enough power. I would really need to know what kind of amp and subs you have, then I can tell you more specifically what your problem could be. If I read your post right, you said when you have one sub hooked up it works good? Or is it when you plug in one RCA, both subs work fine? If that's the case then it would most likely be a bad set of RCA's. It's not unusual to have a bad set. Let me know

i had that exact problem, try switching one of the sets of wires around on your line out converter., either your left or right positive and negative is mixed up...
