It's amazing how quick a for sale post can be deleted for someone not posting a price, but when someone starts making racist comments........Um, that's okay. I applaud the OP for showing his true demeanor. The term "PORCH MONKEY," could not have been used in a "peaceful" way, no matter how you put it. Also, for the subordinate morons that are trying to back up the OP, how about you go to one of the ghetto sides of town and have the testicular fortiturde to tell an African American that. Porch Monkey is definately a racist and deragatory term...but I don't like people that use the term African-American. either...or any other hypenated-American name, such as Mexican-American, Asian-American, etc...IMO unless YOU came over here from the country that precedes the word American, you are just an American, be it black, white, brown , green, or blue. And even if someone DID come from another country over here, once you become a citizen...You are an American.

and when I am talking about my friends, I don't say what race they are, it really doesn't matter to me..If you are my friend, thats what you are...my friend, not my black friend, my mexican friend, etc.....

someone can either take a joke or not. if they take a joke then they have a sense of humor if they dont..... then you more then likely have a problem lol. as for myself i have a mixed family. i have white,black,mexican,indian, etc. im mexican,black, german, irish and indian myself. i can take a joke but i can also tell when something isnt a joke. but for all the poeple that are getting offended by the op of this thread chill out it aint worth getting butthurt! did he base it toward's you or was it based on a fact from what he has experience with. in this case he is stating that black's can barbeque like no other lol. trust me this is true all my cousin's and brother's can bbq with the best of them. just let it go he is either making a joke that no one is finding funny or he is serious and it really doesnt matter.............. let it go

I think that people are more likely to accept a racial comment as a joke when they believe that the speaker is not a diehard racist. Deerhunt, bless his heart, is percieved by some here as having a genuine dislike for black people. I am not exactly sure why people come to that conclusion, but I expect his avator sets them on that path.

If a black person called me cracker, honkey, etc, I would have no problem with it as long as I could call them my preferred racially inspired name back.
