All i can say is that his boxes are worth the investment. People can talk shit all they want, and until they do better than him with similar equipment then they shouldn't be talking at all.

As stated earlier in this thread, had the box been carpeted and the wood covered, nobody would've cared what it was made out of. Let the numbers do the talking. When you factor in how much the materials are for that box, its well worth the price. Sheet of wood+lots of resin+four 4" precision ports=mucho dollars.

A simple slot ported box does not cost as much.

I would never argue that he doesn't make loud boxes, because I personally don't know nor care. His "speaker building prowess" threads are increasing in number and are getting annoying. IMO it is only to sell his product and I don't come here to be hit with marketing propaganda constantly. If I wanted that I would go pick up some magazines.

ok. those prices do still seem quite high. considering the parts cost nearly nuthin. but if he charges it and people pay it, then more power to him. i just know i wouldnt pay that for a box.

well of course hes gonna charge for design and construction. but thats quite a basic design and im sure also a fairly easy build. is that worth $200+? maybe it is to you, but it just isnt to me. if the shops around you charge $400+ for enclosures, then by all means, outsell them. i dont know what shops around here charge cause i build my own, and maybe it is like $400+. im comparing these prices to ones ive seen on the forums here, and $300 for a 1 sub "essentially" sealed enclosure made outta p-board w/resin & $60 ports on it is too high 4 me. thats just my personal opinion. lets not take this any further, i dont wanna draw too much attention and start a war in this thread again. lol

Cmon now, you know he would charge at least 100 bucks for a box design, he has to have some type of profit. Cause paper to write on= 5c and pen 1$ and then you have his thoughts=priceless, so that there is the tax, oh and shipping.
