There are certain things you have to do in different sorts of vehicles to make them work... hence, I can get a 150+ out of a trunk car at a nice low note. How many vehicles have come on here and done a 150+ at 40hz? How many were using a trunk car? How many were using under 2kw? How many were using a single 15" woofer?

lmao... well it should be easy, right? I use horrible wood thats not loud and doesn't sound good... and I use woofers that also **** to high heaven.

I'd love to know when a 150.7 in a 4 door trunk car with one 15 and 1600 watts became a weak score. Lets also not consider this is a readily available box that anyone can pick up.

Someone mentioned why don't the high end companies use what I use... My response to that is what "high end" company makes a box that does what mine do?

My boxes are flat out louder, while sounding pretty dam good. I do it with different methods than what you would normally see... WHO THE HELL does sub forward port to the side?

Thats the problem, everyone wants to just copy everyone else. Nobody else @ drag or MECA finals (i'd venture to say all the others too, but I wasn't there) used the box design I used @ MECA finals. 154.7 with 2 12's and 1900 watts is solid enough... let alone at 40hz. 153.3 @ 36hz at the headrest is just stupid //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif . I didn't copy a dam thing anyone was doing - I made my own design and it worked out great.

TCAB is built on innovation... but if I end up finding something existing works best, so be it. Its not different for the sake of being different, its different because thats what is best.

Food for thought - maybe everyone else is doing something wrong?

Factory rec's are generally too small - for marketing purposes. You don't want a 12 that works best in 2.5 cubes, when you can go grab another 500 watt sub that only needs 1.5, right? We on here draw the distinction, but the majority of the market doesn't know the difference.
