Hello caraudio.com friends,

Should I go with these two 3x12 ports or should I do one 4in port or 5,6... I'm not sure what port area's required.. The port/s can also be external if need be.. Any suggestions welcome! thx

Why do you recommend the 6in port? Length? Any other options?

6 inches is what is needed for the cone area and excursion ability you have. Anything smaller will have port noise and compression which lead to decreased performance. You want to use a single port, those are more efficient. The next smallest size is 4 inch, that will have compression and noise problems so go with a 6.

26inches long tunes to 30.7hz with 2.66net volume.

I have cut the holes out too close to each other today.. 6in will not fit this box anymore.. I can't do 5in bc I can't find any pipe that size.. How about two 4in? 6inches in the box and the rest external?

Build another baffle. Just glue it right overtop of the f up baffle. I've done it.

I thought about it.. That means extra 3/4 to the f'ed up side and another 3/4 to the good side.. That way I'd still have a double baffle.. That's an extra 1.5in to the box plus the added weight. CRAP!

2 4s will work, make sure you have enough room for the flares.

You should always do a mock up of your subs and port on the baffle to make sure there are proper clearances before you make the actual cuts.

I couldn't help it.. First time cutting out with Jasper Guide and a router.. AMAZING!!!
