This is correct. They have the 1800 boards. I ran a JL 10W6v2 with it and it didn't even get warm. Not sure where this seller got the amp, but it looks A LOT like the one I sold 6 months back. AWESOME amp. I went Mosconi though. I have ALL of the info on this amp if anyone has any questions.
Do you still have the information on this amp? I can't find it.
I know this is a dead thread.. But can't find anything. I have a pc250, 2100, 2150, 2350, 450, 4100, and this 1400. I have the manuals for all the others. Can't find this one.
Thanks for any help

What year was that amp, like 1999 iirc? And a beast amp too I know. 2 of those 1400's pushed a set of old school CV Strokers nicely.

Its an 1800 board in a different case I think. So I'd expect 800 watts or so Rms at 2 ohm real world.

And yes... that manual might be hard to find.

Shredder2. Thanks for the reply. Yeah I was going to use this instead of my pc2350 in one of my old school builds. With 3 orion 2ntense dvc 12s. But I ended up finally finding a 4th. Going to use them in the old school challenge with a variety of amps. I am also building a box for a pair of freshly rebuilt old school stroker 18s that I have 4 mtx thunder 2300s going on. I need some box advice. And I believe I have seen you on some forums helping people. I have a very extensive list of old school gear I want to test out. I'll post a few items
Pic of the 2nts is actually 2 of the 3 15s I have. The spls are nib. Just a few things I have.

Nice collection of PC amps! I collected that series for a while. I had 2 of the 1400s but sold 1 recently. I used the 1800 manual before I found the "real" 1400 manual (very rare). Give me a minute to dig thru all my literature to find it.

Thank you! I appreciate it. Not sure if i showed my whole collection here or said it but I have a pc250, 2100, 2150, 2350, pc450, 4100, pc 650, pc 1400. Pretty sure that is it from the pc class. But I have well over 100 90s era amps.

There was also a 275 and Pro 650. In 1998 they added a 425 and 1200 to the line up. As Shredder2 mentioned, in 1999, PPI changed the way they labeled their amps and renamed them for the max power they make at 2 ohms stereo/4 ohms bridged (250 became 2200, 2100 became 2400, 1400 became 1800, and so on). I used to have 1 of each of the PC series but sold some off throughout the years. I currently have a 1200, 1400, (2) 275, (2) 2100, 2350, and 4100. They also came out with the Limited Edition White (L.E.W.) models. I have a NIB LEW 2300 (1999 version of 275) and NIB LEW 4400 (1999 version of 450).

I found the PC1400 manual and it's identical to the PC1800 manual. The only difference is the 1800 manual has the frequency/subsonic filter chart on page 16 (the original 1400 manual doesn't have this). That's the reason I used the 1800 manual for my 1400 and 1200 monoblock amps.

For some reason the image viewer cuts off the bottom of the pics. You have to download the file for the full pic. Here's an older picture of my PPI collection (from the top): (2) 1400, 2150, 275, 1200, 250, A300.2, (2) 2100, (3) PC links, LEW 4400, LEW 2300, and (2) EPX-223 crossovers.
