OK one thing I'm a little confused on. Its a PC1400 which according to the manual its:

PC1400

200 WRMS x 1 @ 4 ohms

400 WRMS x 1 @ 2 ohms

the PC1800 is

400 WRMS x 1 @ 4Ω

800 WRMS x 1 @ 2Ω

but it looks like the 1800 layout as it has the bass knob plug, but says 1400.

My understanding is, at the time PPI started making changes in the way they named some amps, they continued using these 1400 long cases with the 1800 boards. The original 1400's were the same power specs - 400wx1 @ 4 ohms and 800x1 @ 2 ohms. If you look at the specs in the link above for the 1800, you'll see the end caps match with the 1800 specs in that manual. If you search around a little about old school PPI, it seems to have been discussed on several forums about the "dark grey muffler" cases and these old school PPI amps. Thanks for asking.

Can't go wrong with these amps... I used to have a PC2150 and a PC1400 back when I was 19... IIRC this amp will do 400w @ 4ohm, and the claimed 800@2. I had mine running two JL 18w6's at 1ohm and it got hot, but never went into protect.

Amazing amp, wish I needed it.

This is correct. They have the 1800 boards. I ran a JL 10W6v2 with it and it didn't even get warm. Not sure where this seller got the amp, but it looks A LOT like the one I sold 6 months back. AWESOME amp. I went Mosconi though. I have ALL of the info on this amp if anyone has any questions.

I got it from you SPL, along with several other things in the deal! lol

Just got too many projects going in different directions, so trying to scale down a bit.
