I'm old school spl 2002 era . I ran 2 rf bd1500 on 2 rf power hx2 15s I was hitting around 145 to 148avg on old mics and enjoyed it for every day music. I'm more geared towards quality sound ground pounding sound. I want it loud deep and smooth.

Im Not into spl anymore I want something loud and deep. Icurrently run a dayton ho 12 in 1cubic foot sealed on 350 watts and not to thrilled. Go figure. So I got the bass itch again. I want to slam! . I own a 2014 f150 standard cab truck. I can fit 4.0 to 4.5 cubic box behind seats before displacement. Sub Mounting depth around 11 to 13max . I will make the box deeper on passenger side which is where i will place the sub. .

For power I'm assuming I will spend around 300-500 on amp so 1000-3000 rms power

For sub I have a limit to around 250-525. I want a single sub 15 inch sub . I wish 18 inch.

So Need help looking for a great loud decent sounding sub. From my hours of new school research I'm looking at

incriminator death penilty
incriminator deathrow

dc lvl 4

skar zvx
skar vxf

soundqbed hdx3
soundqbed hdx4

I want a sub comparable or better than the old rf power hx2 15. Rockfords top of the line subs are way overpriced for me and so is jl w6 and w7. Im open to all suggestions on subs.
Let me know what you think I should run.

I think you can get away with a single sub 15 inch sub. A good option would be the Skar Vxf or Incriminator Death Row Subwoofer, as they are both loud and have great sound quality for their price range.

The SoundBed Hdx line is also an excellent choice if you're looking to get more bass without breaking the bank.

I'm having a hard time believing that you can have a mounting depth up to 13" behind your seat in a standard cab pickup. Can you take a picture with a tape measure? With that many cubes I would look at 4-8's or 4-10's on a Sundown SIA3500.

This was my first thought as well. There's no way in Hell you're going to fit most of the stuff listed in the OP into a box behind standard cab pickup seats.

Also Skar isn't very good and the owner of the company pulled some shady **** many years back that he still gets a lot of forum hate about. Sundown X will absolutely not fit and is one of the least efficient woofers on the market right now.

I believe that multiple 8" drivers is about the best way to get sound out of a standard cab pickup.

Multiple 8's or a blow through. My standard cab box is a little over 5 cubic feet and mounting depth is around 7" max for three of the subs and 5-1/2" for the sub by the center seat belt.

Most pickups I've owned don't even have that much depth from seat backs to the back wall.

The Dodges have a lot of room behind the seats. My Driver and passenger seat are also all the way back. That's why I'm not buying the mounting depth stated by the OP. That's why I asked for a picture with a tape measure in it.

I've got a 15 you got to have. It's a 15" MTX Thunder 9500..this sub beats hard and is indestructible..its in mint condition..I'm looking for $350 out of it n that's a deal..
