Head was an Alpine, 2 sets of MB Quarts Separates, 2 12 Stillwater Designs Solo Baric subs, All pushed by Phoenix Gold MS2125, (2) MS275, 425 & crossed over with (2) AX406's that was running 1/2 Ohm to the 12's!!! (Happened to find the old pics from 1993
Looks nice and that was all good stuff in it's day. You could have started your own thread for those pics though.

Have you done anything lately? I have fond memories of a lot of that stuff too but wouldn't use any of it today outside of some sort of restoration/show project car type application (which I'd never do anyway).

The above was installed by a shop no longer around (cause I WOULD drive 2,000 miles for Todd to do another system) Cruisin' Music in NJ. Right now, I have a Pioneer head, Crossfire 12's drove by a crossfire C5 1000D, Audio Dynamics ADMK 1000.6 driving the Audio dynamics mids & highs (front & rear) as well as a pair of kicker 8s on the door for mid bass. Went with an aftermarket high output alternator & 2nd battery. (& the check engine light has been on ever since! New cars dont like 14V I guess) installed by Cre8tive Auto Works in Arizona.

Nice. Sounds like you have pretty decent modern stuff now. IMO the state of technology has come a long way and almost all of that stuff we used 30 years ago is obsolete by about every measure.

I still have about 15 of the Kicker ZR style amps including 3 DX750s .. those were some of my favorite amps I set the 0-300 world spl record with a single Kicker XS100 on two DD 9515s in 2004

I miss my zr collection. Crooks for techs and ups broke one in half lol.

Any working or nice looking but faulty zr600?

Hello! Thanks for having me in your amazing Forum! I'm very excited to meet some new friends and discuss car audio. It seems it's been a while since I was able to discuss this passion of mine with my friends since they all are now married with children and have long given up the passion / hobby / addiction.

I'm interested in learning more about the new school car audio systems as well but my passion remains and will always remain with the old school US made amplifiers that powered the systems from the early to mid 1990's.

Thanks again for having me in this amazing Forum! Very excited to learn more!
Welcome
