ok so I got my new amp this weekend...upgraded from a Kenwood kac-7201 800w amp to an audiobahn 1500hcx amp. For some reason I can hear very little bass if any at all at volume levels less than 30 on my pioneer head unit. Then all of the sudden my bass will kick in and it will hit!? WTF??? anyone know of a solution to this? If it matters Im using a custom made ported box tuned to 33hz. Thanks.

Wish I could help you out...but I have the same exact problem. I get bass, but it doesn't start to really knock until about 30 or 31, then it hits like crazy. What deck are you running, I'm using the preimer 750 so I'm not too worried seeing how 30 is only half way up, but on some it's way up and that could cause a problem with clipping.

ah..I'm running the premier 660 model..I also have another question...(hijacking my own thread //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/offwall.gif.29a91b9b265d47af4b8e33fc5b558d18.gif ) For some reason my bass hits REALLY loud inside my car..but like as soon as you step out you cant really hear it at all.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif I have no sound deadener or anything and I have a 96 accord if that helps..anyone know how to make it hit hard like tweeking with the amp or something? I dont really mess with that stuff my friend does it cuz I dont know that much. Thanks.
