do i need a new batt? since im using a stock one with a cap? would it be a difference if i got a new one?

Unless you do a lot of listening while the engine is shut off, there's no real reason to change the battery if it's in good condition.

no im not but my friend told me to get a new batt since it will help? just wondering if i needed a new one because i dont want to fork out some money for it.. i guess i dont need it then thanks
