ohm load???

if you have three duel two ohm subs, there are a lot of different possibilities, but i'll just give you the ones that will work with most amps.

by running a normal parallel, you could actually get it down as low as .25 ohms, but i only know of a few amps that will handle that, and even then they have to be cooled.

a series-parallel is really versitile. you can either get 2 ohm, 4 ohm, or 1 ohm, but explaining how to do it in writing would be like explaining the color purple to a blind man....at least for me.

here's the best i can do:

http://www.termpro.com/articles/spkrz.html

that has everything you need to know for basic series, parallel and series-parallel wiring.

Wired series-parallel you'll get a 1.33 ohm load.

Wired parallel-parallel you'll get a .33 ohm load.

Info was taken from JL Audio's website on the W3 speaker page. Go to http://www.jlaudio.com/subwoofers/12w3.html then click "normal" under custom box design. It gives all kinds of ohm loads for multiple speaker dual voice coil operations.

Option 1 is the VC's wired in Parallel

Option 2 is all the VC's wired in series
