No subwoofer output

have no subwoofer output. Its reallly wierd. My amp is on has the green light lit. I checked the speaker wire from the amp to the sub, actually just replaced it and even checked the connection from the box to the sub, (opened my sub enclosure to make sure). I even swaped my friends sub and plugged it in to the amp, so we can cross out the sub to be having any problems. NExt i thought it would be the amp, so i took my friends Amp and pluged it with my wires and the amp turned on and everything but still no sub out put. THen i was thinking can it be one of the wires, like the remote wire but it can't because if there was something wrong with the wire, the amp wouldnt' get any signal at all to turn on- rite? and i checked the ground and power supply and the fuses all seem to be fine, even replaced both the fuse on the amp and the fuse holder under the hood. THen i was pretty sure that it had to be my head unit, i have currently a deh-p5500mp and i bought it reconditioned so i was like great it has to be that, i bought a new one deh-p7600mp a brand NEW no reconditioned crap this time, after installing it in, still no sub output the amp is ON but the SUB is not giving out anything. I made sure the sub options on the HU were on, so thats out of the story. PLEASE HELP ME!!!! I'm going crazy without my music, music sounds sooo different without any boomin bass.

Hmmmm, well since no one else has given u any input ill give you my share. I would recheck ur ground again because the ground wire is a very highly neglected wire. The ground has to be extremely secure to the cars body or the amp isn't gonna run right.

It's hard to know what to recommend since I don't know how much you know.........

Weird. Hard to tell what you've already checked but...

1. are you sure the gain is turned up?? Double check.

2. Are you getting a voltage output reading at your amp outputs?

That's also what I was thinking that he may have something wrong with his interconnects
