I have a space issue one 15 and four 12's. In a 1989 z24 .

I had six 12's but I have removed 2 but either way I can only fit 2 boxes in my trunk. There are two 12's in each box and the 15 is in a single box.

Any suggestions on placement facing front or back.

Mtx 15, 2 Rockford Fosgate 12's, 2 xplod 12's (I know everyone hates sony)

Not trying to be an a$$ or anything but why so many subs ? Placement will have to be played with to see which sounds better. the z24 is the sporty cavalier right ? With the different size and brand subs in there you are going to have serious cancellation issue and bass that sounds aweful. There is no way to use all those and hav it sound good. Stick with one size and brand.

Jebus man. I got an idea, sell all that crap and get 2 nice 12"s or 15"s that will sound better and most likely get louder than all that crap you have in your trunk.

Just curious, how are you powering all of those subs?

I didnt intend to have so many subs when I started.

It kind of snowballed into what it has become now. I am thinking of dividing everything up between my 2 cars. I will likely put the xplods in my offroad one who cares what beating they get.

As for my sub driving amps I have one pioneer 800w,one pioneer 480w,one xplod 1200w

I also have two 444w xplods for my speakers and tweeters.

A z24 is kind of a sporty cavalier. just alot beter at least in 89' the new z24's are 4 cylinder wimps. Now if they still had v6's and real power then they would be a good car. But I hate the new ones they're gutless and uncomfortable unworthy off a z24 logo.

Kento i am going to do this as nice as possible casue i dont want to turn this into a flame thread. we are just trying to help you....

You need to sell all that crap and like everyone says and get two nice woofers. even if you sell all that and get some nice type-rs or something like that you will still have a nice sound and will even make some money back. If you want somethine good you could have one or maybe even two RE xxx in large ported box and it would sound 10 times nicer.

Just rember QUALITY OVER QUANTITY.

The problem with that is that its hard to get anything where I live.

geting car audio is near imposible. And gas here is $1.07 a litre so you can imagine the price of the little that is here. the olny dealers in town are pioneer and kenwood and their prices are insane.And everything takes months to get here even from those dealers.

But thanks for the advice just the same. I think I might just stick with my rockfords I really like them they seem to be the best of what I have.
