No Bass

I have an issue with a system I just swapped from my truck to my Mustang. I have 2 MTX T6104 subs running off of a 6500D. I wired them in parallel for a 2 ohm load, but the amp doesn't seem to be making much power. When it was set up in my truck they hit very hard, but now I need to turn the gain all the way up in order to have them hit at all. Also, the amp doesn't heat up when running with the gain turned to about +90%. I'm not sure if it is an issue with how I have the subs wired, or if the amp isn't getting enough power. I also have an MTX 8302 powering my fronts and that is putting out plenty of power. Both amps are wired with 8 gauge power and ground cables just as they were in the truck. I can't figure out why the bass has disappeared. Any help?

Check out all your wiring. I would also upgrade to atleast 4 gauge.

I'll try switching the power and ground to either 4 or 2 gauge. That was my last thought as I have been checking all the other wiring and can't find an issue.

What is the impedance of your subs?

You have everything set on the HU ok? Are there any filters or anything that need to be set on the amp?
