No bass with new Taramps MD.1800

and tell them to test head unit rca preouts next time. Those fking clowns actually dared to charged you for a retarded ass diagnosis.

My stupid ass went to their other shop to get my deck tuned for my last amp and deck I had, within 24 hours.. the RCA's went bad. Then I went to them 3 days after hooking up my new Taramps amp & head unit, for a tune, within 5 hours.. the subs lose bass and I just hear crackling coming from them. This was the shop completely different from the ones who talked ****. I find it shitty this happened twice where my components are shot within 24 hours of tuning. Of course, I'm out of my manufacturers warranty on the subs so they can't do ****. I spoke with the manager and he said they can't answer anything unless they look at it but I'm sure that will cost an arm and a leg.

I'm beyond pissed.

BROOOOO please stop. YOU DO NOT GO TO THESE SHOPS FOR TUNING OR ANYTHING DONE! most are hack jobs that dont know the first thing about proper audio tuning, setups etc... You need to learn how to set gains yourself, you can only trust yourself.

The thing is, I set the gain myself and it was fine for the 3 days I was bumpin' before I took it in. I took it in, and not even within 5 hours after, they're what I assume, toast. I'm going to reach out to Rockford Fosgate themselves and see if there's anything they can do.

What ***** is it probably sounds like to you guys I've been going to some rinky dink hole in the wall shop but they aren't. They're called The Specialists here in Arizona and they're really high end specializing in everything aside from just car audio. But that still doesn't justify the way the treated me about my amp and now ****** my **** up twice. I just find it a coincidence that not even in 24 hour time frames both times, my components went to ****..

yeah they all claim that. Their work speaks for themselves. They didnt diagnose properly, they just trashed talked your gear. They fucked up your system. Definition of a garbage brick and mortar shop that only cares for profit not the customer.

A real shop actually has the knowledge, customer service and Actual CARE for their customers rather than the customer's wallet. They would definitely warranty their work and own up to their mistakes.

I agree 100% and I spoke with Rockford Fosgate and unfortunately, they're not backing the issue either. Looks like I'm **** out of luck.

Sooo.. just an update. One subwoofer was actually blown so I went ahead and decided to take the good one out and upgrade to dual 2 Ohm P3's. It happened to be the left woofer blowing which would now make this the second time so I said f*ck it. I opted into the 3 year warranty as well so this **** doesn't happen again. Assuming they wired them down to the correct Ohm load, this is what they set my amp to:
