Who likes the sound of the "set" im trying to figure out if i want to use the sounds they have on some of my drum sets that ill be mixing shortly

the reason i put set in " "s is because of the effects that they use, like in closer, rather than a natural sound...i do know how to replicate them btw

edit: i also can do the extremely low kick drum (ie in rap songs at the 40Hz area)

Occasionally he even posts up some good stuff for download, but I haven't seen him post any up for quite awhile. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

its not as easy as you think douchebag, if you know anything about it, please inform me on your ways, since apparently its the easiest thing in the world for you
you can get that boomy bass with a single osc in about 0.5 seconds if you transpose your keys a couple octaves down....

do you use noise gates for that then? or do u just add it to the actual mix on a different track....just curious

been listening to some of your stuff, not too bad man. how's your studio look?

you could. i was more or less just saying i could get that sound by turning one knob...i didn't mean i actually used that process [often]. i usually sample bass sounds or record them live with a guitar anyway. but yeah, you could gate the signal, although in pre its something that never gets done in my world.

thanks, and it looks like shit right now haha. i just run a simple setup to track stuff more or less, no serious mixing and definitely no mastering. everything i've got on myspace or my site is rough and sometimes just lazy shits a giggles stuff. 2 technics tables, pioneer 600 mixer, behringer boards, tascam control deck, cubase, art tube pre's, mxl/shure/rode mics, maudio midi control, guitars, basses, drums, pianos, banjos, oatmeal packages turned into shakers, and some other random instruments.

i've got more than enough, nothing special at home though. i have no desire to do anything music related for a living...i've got bigger fish to fry as they say.

and chillicothe is a hike from lexington...plus it sucks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but good luck with that...
