Just Got A New 2004 Expedition And Need Help With A System Think I Have The Basics But Would Love Some Suggestions

Focal 6.5 Components In Frt Doors

Focal 6x9 Coax In Rear Doors

1 - Re Xxx 12"

I Am Going To Try And Remove The Stock 8" Sub And Amp Out Of The Drivers Side Rear Panel And Have A Box Built In There According To The Re Web Site I Need .8 Cu Ft Of Air.. Anyone Attempted This Yet?

If Not I Was Thinking Of 2 -12's Behind The 3rd Row Seat

I Like The Amp Because I Can Install It Under The Flooring Behind The 3rd Seat Only About 8 X 25 Availible

At 1 Ohm It Is 1100 Watts And The Sub Is A Dual 2 Ohm Sub So Should Be Perfect For Power

Not sure about the 2004 but with the 2000 I was unable to get anything bigger then 2 10"s behind the 3rd row seat. (2000 Expedition)

I went with a sealed box made to recommendations for the speakers, wish I couldve gotten even one 12" but with the limited space back there it wouldve been tough.

I couldve went with a sealed slanted box I guess and put a couple 12's back there, but the mounting depth is real small and add the box specifications and you have almost nothing.

I Messured The Area Behing The 3rd Row Today

It Will Have To Be A Wedge The Biggest Outside Area Is

49" Wide Between Side Panels

24" Tall

Bottom Can Be 17" Deep

Top Can Be 10" Deep

I Come Up With 8.3 Cu Ft Of Space If I Did This Right
