In response to everything in the above 3 posts...Size of the driver does not determine accuracy, you've been here a while, i'm surprsied you didn't read it. The 15 Ov2 will probably be louder because it will displace a tiny bit more air.
As far as the Av2, it should anhilate the Mag, but it is also considered overkill in most cases. You are not supposed to run less than 1000 watts to it, because it will be worthless. And it can take 3000 all day, it is a super sub, and there are nearly no mechanical limits to the thing. It should be about the same SQ and anhilate it in SPL just due to the massive power handling of it.

well, we'll see. i mean, the magnum can easily take in excess of 3000 watts rms...been done plenty of times in competition and when needed. They've been hooked up straight out of the box to a wall socket free-air...handled it perfectly. The Av2 does have more displacement abilities tho b/c of more excursion. peace

i believe the new A series has the same motor as the previous model. but more power handling due to suspension limitations or somewhat lack there-of.
