Well steve as Nick put it before I even bought the thing. I would be amazed and well...I am more than amazed at the performance of this sub. This thing gets as loud as ill ever need. And as I said in my gallery, the sub wire was the only wire I wasnt able to hide because of technical difficulties. And limperT..The sub is just amazing, has great sound quality I believe im not too big on carpeting boxes. I mean yea it looks nice and all but I also like the look and feel of the MDF as well.
