New Install Question

I've got a 2003 RSX and I'm putting the following in it tomorrow:

Alpine 7998

JL XR-650 CXi

JL XR-650 CSi

JL 300/4

I'm planning on putting the amp in the hatch, and running the speaker wire from it to the front and hooking it to the stock wire.

I was also planning on running 4 gauge power wire from the battery, and then getting a divider and running 8 gauge to the 300/1 and then when I add my 500/1 and sub, run the other 8 gauge to it

I have a couple of questions:

1) can I reuse the stock speaker wire, or should I run some new stuff? and if so, what guage?

2) is there any difference between the name brand and generic RCA cables / speaker wire? if so, what is a good 'bang for buck' brand?

3) What order do I hook up everything on the amp? ground > power > remote > speaker?

4) anything else I should know?
