the silverstar ultras are legal there buddy and so are the blues there are several out there that are dot apporved as long as they dont exceed the wattage it doenst matter what color they are
you need to read up

He is probably talking about HIDs.

Some people make the mistake of buying the HID kit and using their stock headlight housing, which will reflect way too much and blind oncoming drivers. If they are put into aftermarket projectors, then they are don't affect oncoming drivers as long as you have them on low beam.

I believe after 6000 it starts getting blue, then after 8000 it starts getting purple.

in georgia there not. we have curvy roads... that is highly dangerous in rural areas lacking street lights. no sence at all running those lights. i have very good vision, i have zero need to run blues or silvers. they also limit width of lumination.

dude wtf you are honestly retarted they dont limit the width of the light output silverstars bulbs are muc more of a wider lightning than stock just go somewhere

5k is superwhite 6k is a tad of blue to it barely can tell looks perfect and 8500k is blue i had the xenon 8500 it sucked couldnt see nothing look awseome but it was horible output

he will regret the 8500k i will only get 6k tops from now on

but you might get a lil better light from the 8500k than me considering i have 35% tint on my windshield the whole windshield that is its a pita to see at night i have 6 sets of addational fog lights on my truck with 100 watt bulbs in each even though they are rated for 55watts because i need the extra light plus i have my stock fogs and headlights and its still tough to see

you will see more blue than anything and it will be hard to see and after dirivng a while your eyes start to strain its hell to see but if you want the 8500k then try it but you wont get that much useable light after 6k the useable light output goes down

listen to him. all these people with 8k bulbs and the blue output have a lot less actual light output than you think. the blue can cause fatigue on long night road trips or such.

imo get a 5-6k

i currently run 5k and i would not go any higher. maybe 6k but doubtfull.

yep same here i have 5k most i would get is 6k just to have a lil shade of blue that looks nice but thats if i am feeling the need for it lol

i really dont need blue lights wih my windshiled need all the ligh output as possible i have one set of fogs thats are like a greenish but white color like a rainbow effect its weird i will take a pic sometime but they are bright and light up the road
