Well, looking for those subs that you flip inside out-so the rear magnet is only showing. I wanted the magnets that had all that awesome chrome. I am sure you guys seen them in eurotuner, in the back of a import or somthing. I dont have that much space by the way so I needed 8 inch woofer. Possible free air speakers. Check these out and let me know if this is the route I should go. thanx

Well just remember you get what you pay for. Although they look cool, I can promise you they will not sound good. Also any speaker can be turned inside out (inverted). Although they won't be flashy, check out RE 8's, Image Dynamics 8's, ED A 8's if you can find some. If you want something awesome get W7 8's, they are the best 8's IMO.

i guess that sub will work if you want a lot of chrome and looks, audiobahn doesnt really have good sq and is mainly known for spl but i think that sub will do, and what you mean by "those subs that you flip inside out-so the rear magnet is only showing" that is when you an invert a sub, so i guess your going with a sealed box that should get a little bit more of sq out of that audiobahn

Listen to them and see if you like them. They may not be what you are looking for as far as sound goes. Dont just buy it cause it's shiny.

dammit i hate when people post before me, but if you want the BEST 8's i think some guy hit 140.x db's with a single kicker 8" L7 so that might be something to think about

woofer used..... RE 8 of course

we took power measurements from the amp, using my model 36 clamp, and on the burp, had 245 watts of actual power

at 64hz, the single RE 8.... with 245 watts of power... on the Sensor, at the kick did....

140.8 db

to put that into perspective.. thats nearly a 143 on the Linear X, and anywhere from a 146-150 on an Audiocontrol meter...

we were all stunned...
