I have a pair of infinity 3 1/2s in my dash and when I turn my headunit up to high the cone hits the tweeter on one of them. I need help with selecting a capacitor to put on them. Id like to block out frequencies below 80hz or whatever you guys think woud be a good crossover point. Next, im not sure what kind of capacitor or any of the specs that go along with them. Please help me out!

Hmm... Go to partsexpress.com and find yourself some bass blockers. I agree with custom, get something a tad higher than 80's. 80's are more for 6.5" - 7" sized speakers. 300hz seems like a good number to me. Even closer to 500-700hz if you have other good midbass/midrange drivers. Just play with your system and try it out.
