yeah mine was rare lol. i beat it to hell and back to. got the baby at 97k from my dad at 16 and it died roughly 5 and a half years later at 210k. i drove that thing to hell and back.
if you're getting a 98' get an r/t. can't beat a 5.9L v8 my friend. on the topic if ******'s my 97' dak missed the shifts semi often but it's an easy fix since the tv cable is located right next to the throttle body.
my buddie's 00' explorer dropped the head gasket at 82k miles, my mom's 97' explorer needed a new compressor, new condensor and new rear axle before 50k. i'd stay away from ford and SUV's unless they're an escape but that's me.
